At first glance, it looks a lot like the GT3 Touring. No wonder, they have the same body. However, beneath the rather discreet exterior lies an advanced and very loud version of the 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six that powers the track-focused 911 GT3 RS. It produces 525 hp and 465 Nm of torque. Instead of the RS's PDK gearbox, the S/T is equipped with a 6-speed manual from the regular GT3. Other modifications were also made, including shorter gear ratios and a lighter flywheel. But despite the RS's track-focused engine, Porsche engineers have tweaked the S/T's chassis to make it a better road car, including simplified the suspension and got rid of the rear-wheel steering. With a price tag of £231,600 and a very limited number planned for production, you'd expect this to be a real event in the sports car world. Or will it? Watch Mat's new review to find out!
