And just like his first, Hereditary, this one follows the same line of more psychological horror, but no less shocking for that. In the plot, a girl (Florence Pugh) recovering from a plot decides to travel with her boyfriend (Jack Reynor) and his friends (Vilhelm Blomgren, William Jackson Harper and Will Poulter) to a small community in Sweden, where a festival celebrating the summer solstice will take place. Some of the young people intended to write a thesis on local customs and others just wanted to enjoy the holidays. However, such customs turn out to be much more eccentric than they could have imagined, making the young tourists rethink whether that is really the best place to spend their holidays and do research.
