The restaurant business in Thailand continues to face serious challenges from the volatile economy, rising costs, and slowing purchasing power, resulting in the Thai restaurant business being a “battleground” full of fierce competition. According to data from last year, more than 100,000 new restaurants opened, bringing the total number of restaurants in Thailand to 680,190. However, despite the large number of new restaurants opening, a significant number of restaurants have had to close down due to various problems.
