The Noite welcomes aviation expert and recently-turned-pilot Lito Sousa. The owner of the famous channel “Aviões e Músicas” is accompanied by two plane crash survivors, Nilson Zille and Ricardo Trajano. Zille is a former pilot and survivor of Varig flight 254, while Ricardo is the only surviving passenger of Varig flight 820. On today’s show, Nilson tells his story and comments: “I was the co-pilot on that flight and, incidentally, I was there to help out, because I wasn’t even scheduled for that flight”. The flight in question, 254, got lost and crashed in the Amazon jungle in September 1989. Zille states that he tried to warn the captain several times about the wrong route and says: “he was a good pilot. His problem is inherent to any human being who thinks ‘I know everything’. And we are fallible”. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Noite is a talk show hosted by Danilo Gentili and airs from Monday to Friday in the early hours of the morning on SBT. Personalities from all areas are interviewed on the program, which also features Murilo Couto, Igor Guimarães, stage assistant Juliana and announcer Diguinho Coruja. The soundtrack is by the band Ultraje a Rigor and the commentary is courtesy of vocalist Roger Moreira. Completing the group are bassist Mingau, guitarist Marcos Kleine and drummer Bacalhau.
