This year, the plastic and reconstructive surgery week was held from March 18 to 26, 2022 in Guélack. This program, dear to the SCL, makes plastic and reconstructive surgery available to underprivileged populations or those with difficulty accessing care. It is a program that strengthens the local healthcare offering for a week with volunteer specialists with extensive experience in surgical practice. For this 3rd edition, we saw 104 patients in consultation between Monday and Tuesday. From Wednesday to Friday, we operated on 45 of them and on Saturday we saw the patients again for their first dressing. This was an opportunity to treat, among other things: Disabling, dysesthetic scars: 2 nostril plastics, one upper limb strap Retractile scars: 2 releases + hand plastics Cleft lip: 2, including one in an adult Lipomas Arthrosinovial cysts
