This is another video in the series “Baby Development Stages”. Here on the channel, I have already talked about everything from the first month to the twelfth. Now, I continue the series by telling you how a child’s development happens year by year. Watch! 00:00 - Opening 00:36 - Physical development 01:32 - Intellectual development 02:30 - Social development 03:31 - Emotional development 04:30 - Moral development Physical Development: Great motor activity: runs, jumps, starts climbing stairs, can start riding a tricycle; great desire to try everything. Dresses herself reasonably well. Copies simple geometric figures. Is increasingly independent in terms of hygiene; is already able to control her sphincters (especially during the day). Intellectual Development: Understands most of what she hears and her speech is understandable to adults. Uses her imagination a lot. Knows her name, sex and age. Repeats sequences of 3 digits. The child begins to understand cause and effect relationships. The child is quite curious and inquisitive. Social Development: The child is quite sensitive to the feelings of those around him/her regarding him/herself. He/she has difficulty cooperating and sharing. He/she is concerned with pleasing the adults who are important to him/her, and is dependent on their approval and affection. He/she begins to understand the differences in the behavior of men and women. He/she begins to show more interest in others and to join in group activities with other children. Emotional Development: The child is able to be separated from his/her mother for short periods of time. He/she begins to develop some independence and self-confidence. He/she may show fear of strangers, animals or the dark. He/she begins to recognize his/her own limits, asking for help. He/she imitates adults. Moral Development: The child begins to distinguish right from wrong. The opinions of others about him/her become very important to the child. He/she is able to control himself/herself more effectively and is less aggressive. He/she uses extreme verbal threats, such as: “I’ll kill you!”, without being aware of their implications. ????
