In this video, we show you how to install a charging point for an electric vehicle from the main panel of the house. In this case, it is a Policharger ON, so the protections will be wired in the main panel, simulating a house with a private garage. As promised, we leave you here the link to the configuration video of a Policharger NW: • Initial configuration of the electric vehicle charger... In this case, the mandatory protections (which are the transient and permanent overvoltage protector, the C curve circuit breaker and the type A differential) will be in the main panel and we will run the connection to the Policharger charger, which in this case is a Policharger ON. As always, we will take advantage of the channeling that we have to make to pass the hose for the consumption sensor that will be in charge of measuring the consumption of the home. In this case, we will place the consumption sensor after the IGA at the entrance, thus taking all the consumption of the installation. The cable that we will use for the sensor signal will always be shielded and we will connect the shield to ground to avoid any interference from other cables. Once we have taken the connection to the charger, we can now close our Policharger ON. We must connect the screen cable and screw the cover to the charger. Once this is done, we will place the insert on the top and the charger will be closed. Once we have everything connected, we can put power to the charger and we will see that it works. On the screen we will be able to see the consumption of the installation and we would only have to configure it to start charging. The basic configuration is very similar to that of the Policharger NW, whose video we will leave you in the description. In the case of the Policharger ON, it comes equipped with two RFID cards, which we can use to lock and unlock the equipment. To add the cards to the charger, we must access the “RFID Card” menu by pressing the P button and entering the access code, which by default is “0000”. From the menu, we will enter the “Add Card” option and we will only have to bring the card close to our charger to memorize it. In the “advanced configuration” menu we have the “lock mode” submenu where we can change from “normal” to “always locked” so that it asks us to swipe the card every time we connect the car to be able to charge. If we leave it on “normal” it will allow us to charge just by connecting the car. Well, that's all for today, leave us any questions or queries you want us to answer in the next videos in the comments. Thanks to everyone, and happy loading!
