In the eleventh episode entitled "Prilježni gražić", of the documentary series "Trace of Karađorđa" of the educational and scientific program of the RTS, the groundbreaking events in the Serbian uprising in 1810 and 1811 were presented. After earlier victories over the Turks at Ivankovac, Mišar, Deligrad and Varvarin, the Serbian insurgents under Karađorđe's leadership also won a victory over 40,000 Turks at Tičarsko polje near Loznica. In the summer of 1811, Hajduk Veljko, whom Vuk Stefanović Karadžić compared to Ahil and Miloš Obilić, was appointed duke of the Negotin Krajina. Karađorđe, in the respite between battles, builds and fortifies the poplar town with four corner towers, a church and a school; helps the restoration and construction of churches and monasteries in Serbia... In the liberated country, feudalism was abolished, roads were built, trade flourished, courts were established according to the nahijas... The assembly in Belgrade at the beginning of 1811 limited the arbitrariness of the Serbian dukes, the Soviet led by the supreme leader Karađorđe, who was declared the hereditary lord, became the supreme authority in Serbia.
