Stroobos - An impressive procession of 260 trucks for the 11-year-old deceased Appie from Stroobos. He died after an epileptic attack. Appie loved trucks, even wanted to become a truck driver, if he had been healthy enough. Many truck drivers knew Appie. Appie's coffin was transported on a truck. It was an emotional procession that was followed by many interested parties on the sidelines with tears in their eyes. Appie's funeral was from the church in Gerkesklooster. Repro - Rudy Bouma
