In this episode of Traces, Uğur Derman's main narrations are; Sir, I was born on February 5, 1935 in Bandırma, let's correct it like I was born because I don't know when I was born :) My mother is a housewife Nazime, and my father is Mehmet Celaleddin Bey, an officer at the Ministry of Finance Central Organization in Ankara. My father got pneumonia in the second half of 19934. I went through antibiotics at that time, there weren't even any antibacterial drugs, so those who caught pneumonia had to die. He died 4-5 months before my birth, but before he died, he said to my mother on one occasion, whether our child is a girl or a boy, you will name him Uğur. When my mother said Celal in this state, she said yes I want him to be Uğur. I was born 4 months later on February 5. My father passed away towards the end of September, my mother has an older sister, she is 3 years older, there is no reason for her to stay there, she returns to Bandırma to her family, there is my grandfather and grandmother there. My grandfather was a pharmacy in Bandırma, so I grew up under his auspices. They never made my sister or me feel like we were without a father, and since we had a house in Üsküdar, I spent half of my childhood partially in Bandırma, we also spent half of it here, in other words, we did not become Üsküdar residents later, we have been Üsküdar residents since forever...
