The fourth Unit closes the discipline with a flourish, presenting a fundamental truth: God is in control of History! Nothing escapes His eyes or slips through His fingers! Omniscience, omnipotence and omnipresence are exclusively divine attributes that demonstrate the power and control that only Yahweh has! Three major prophets will be studied over the course of five chapters. They are: Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel. The first two chapters will deal with the prophet of tears, Jeremiah. This servant of the Lord faced many adversities, but he did not bargain with his calling; instead, he prophesied what God commanded to be said to the nation of Judah. The message was harsh and announced the coming of judgment, but it was appropriate for the prophet to announce what God had commanded and not what men wanted to hear, as the false prophets lied. Ezekiel is the prophet of the third and fourth chapters. He spoke to the rebellious house of Judah and Jerusalem, through a language full of symbols, but with a profound message brought by the True Lord of the nation. Finally, in the fifth chapter, the discipline will have its conclusion presenting the prophet Daniel, a true man of God who, through his life and work, experienced the intimacy of the Lord. @GOTASDETEOLOGIA @Shiran.Teologia @ALAN SHIRAN
