Sojodo, a remote island in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do. Mr. Kim Kyung-han, who used to run a rice cake shop in Seoul, came to this island 10 years ago and became its only resident. Mr. Kyung-han has been living a self-sufficient life on this barren island with no boats and no land to farm. He throws a fish trap and goes out to the tidal flats to catch octopuses and clams to solve every meal. However, since the sea conditions are not always good, when there are a lot of fish caught, he dries them, stocks them, and sells them. He has now developed some know-how on living on an uninhabited island. Kyung-han's lone support in his uninhabited island life is his companion dog, 'Bada'. But why is Bada not a good person? It turns out it's because he misses his husband, 'Mungchi', who lives on a neighboring island. Will Kyung-han and 'Bada', who are heading to Daejodo, meet Mungchi when the waterway between Daejodo and Sojodo finally opens?
