After living a life of traveling through the wild for a long time, husband 'Evan' and wife 'Heidi' decided to build a house and live in the forest instead of the city. They used materials from nature and laid ondol on the floor to survive the long, cold winters of Vermont. It took a whole 4 years to complete the house as it is now, and they had to endure difficulties they had never imagined before in a harsh environment without hot water or electricity. However, the couple had a son 'Huckle' here. The house is filled with their love, patience, and memories that they have poured out over the years. After completing the house, Evan and Heidi expanded the garden in front of the house to create a small farm. The variety of vegetables they harvest is quite large compared to the size of the land. There are over 70 kinds, and growing various kinds of vegetables allows them to continue farming without suffering great losses even in the changing climate and seasons. The couple provides a variety of fresh produce every week to distributors, restaurants, and even residents of the local community. They are not only devoted to farming. On weekends, they take a break from work and gather together to cook breakfast and enjoy various leisure activities. They can be called “hobby rich” because they enjoy nature to their heart’s content. The couple enjoys kayaking, skating, and skiing depending on the season, and Huckle is currently into mountain biking, which he learned from his father Evan. When he is at home, Heidi knits, draws, and plays the guitar.
