I took a ferry across to Port Baikal and got on a train there to get out of Listvyanka and ride along one of the most picturesque railways in Russia - the Circum-Baikal Railway. Together with my bike, I arrived in the village of Slyudyanka, where I immediately visited a landmark - a marble railway station, talked to a tourist who told me about meeting a bear and rode on in the rain. The weather was not very good right away. It was late evening, so this day could hardly be called a trip and I rode only 50 km to the hotel on a bike, especially since after the service my bike broke down and the gears did not change. That day, the great Baikal was on my left the whole way. Under the gray sky, Lake Baikal looked scary. The next day, I met my subscribers near Ulan-Ude and they gave me a ride to the city so that I could have my bike serviced at a bike repair shop. I walked around Ulan-Ude with them, ate Buza and went to bed, leaving my bike with them. In the morning, some cyclists and I went for a bike ride around the city, rode around the center of Ulan-Ude, and they rode almost 100 km from the city with me. I was very impressed by the beauty of Buryatia. Ahead was a joyful and sunny day of cycling. I was pleased with the landscapes, scale and beauty of nature.
