I'm going to be very honest: I thought this video was crap. I tried to be genuine and transparent in front of the camera and tell you the specific aspects that made me decide to leave Spain and return to Medellín but it didn't turn out the way I expected... What you'll see in the video is real but I want to share a specific list here: 1. High taxes and other financial obligations 2. Being with my partner in Colombia 3. Being more comfortable in Colombia - with what I pay for a small studio in Madrid, I can pay for a large and very well located apartment in Medellín 4. Sharing time with my family and building my home 5. Weather in Medellín Is the Digital Nomad visa in Spain worth it? It depends on your priorities. I don't regret having paid everything I paid but I don't regret having returned to Medellín either. Would I go back? Yes, I would go back, under different circumstances: 1. Better income for both me and my partner 2. Getting a remote job directly in Europe 3. A clear objective (initially I only went to live the experience) Anyway, I have the best intentions with this video and that is that more people have access to this information and can make informed and conscious decisions.
