Good morning Travelers!!! At the end of July we spent a weekend in a rest area where we had been a year ago.. We are in Caoria, Canal San Bovo. We came to meet Alberto, Chiara and 4 other families who decided to change their lives after discovering a call for proposals created by the Autonomous Province of Trento. The call in question is called Coliving. What it is in essence: The project involves the provision through free loan for use of public apartments in peripheral mountain areas in exchange for a commitment to encourage the creation of new social networks that contribute to the construction of trust agreements between the new generations and the inhabitants of the territories. «Coliving: collaborating, sharing, living» is proposed as a model of collaborative living, similar to co-housing experiences, where the idea of shared living in a community prevails. The project proposes integrated actions related to the themes of living and the valorization of unused public real estate, offering young families the ideal conditions to become independent, build a life project and contribute to the development and life of a mountain territory. It is also by repopulating that a territory is put in a position to generate opportunities.
