This video shows a night flight around the ancient palace of the Grotte di Catullo. It was one of the first promotional videos I produced for my virtual reconstruction project. The ruins of the Grotte di Catullo, on the northern tip of the island of Sirmione in the south of Lake Garda, are very extensive and unfortunately it is not easy to keep track of them, let alone imagine what once was there. My reconstruction is intended to help you fill this gap in visual understanding. You can find inspiration on this channel or go directly to the reconstruction via the link below. I have designed the interactive website with my reconstruction in such a way that you can move from room to room like in a computer game through 360-degree panoramas and discover for yourself the ancient palace building and its grounds, including the forest and the coastal area.
