※ This video is part of <Korean Travelogue - Let's Live Like a Local Part 2: This Is Naewari> broadcast on December 10, 2024. Naewari is a remote village that appears when you follow the winding and complicated mountain paths from Ulju. In a deep valley without a single convenience store, blue-eyed foreigners gather and farm. Through 'farm stay', a form of travel where you help with work and are provided with food and lodging, the main characters are Forrest from the United States, Pata from Slovenia, and Stefan from Germany. While Forrest is a Korean food lover who can make sujebi (Korean dumplings) by himself, Pata is a so-called 'regular' who has visited Naewari twice in a row. Stefan is the youngest, but he is fluent in Korean and can converse in Korean. They are all different in age and nationality, but they have one goal! They love Korea and want to experience Korean culture properly. They set out to make 80 bundles of kimchi with cabbages and vegetables they harvested themselves in preparation for winter. Even though I confidently rolled up my sleeves, it's not easy.
