I Am Not a Mist on a Thistle (TV Movie) Fairy tale /Czechoslovakia, 1970, 34 min Director: Libuše Koutná Screenplay: Jiří Zdeněk Novák Cinematography: Věra Štinglová Cast: Pavel Landovský, František Filipovský, Hana Maciuchová, František Hanus, Libuše Havelková, Vlastimil Hašek, Jiří Lír Contents A cheerful play about a young man who did not know how to be afraid. The wandering scoundrel Franta goes out into the world to learn to be afraid. He stops at a nearby mill, which is haunted. The miller's family is moving away because of the ghosts, and Franta and Verunka, the miller's daughter, catch each other's eye. Franta spends the night in the mill, and since he is not afraid of ghosts, he learns from them that they are the former owners who cheated people in their lifetime and must haunt them until a fearless scoundrel frees them.
