By the way, another way to relieve jet lag is to go for a massage with lymphatic drainage upon arrival. ▶ Flight selection Choose flights that at least give you hope for sleeping on the plane. For example, when I fly to the States, I try to choose daytime flights, this allows me to alleviate jet lag a little, or even avoid it altogether. Therefore, it is better to stock up on your own food, and if you have a need for special food, order it in advance on the airline's website. Also remember that coffee and tea remove water from the body, so you need to drink as much water as possible on board. But alcohol can have a very significant impact upon arrival, so I recommend not drinking it. On board, all passengers are given travel kits with everything they need, but in addition to all this, I take my own pillow, moisturizer, nose drops and eye drops with me on board. Another must is comfortable clothes, as well as a change of clothes if you are flying to a country that is much hotter or colder than the country of departure. Also take medications so that in case of a headache or something else, you are fully armed. ▶ Entertainment on board There is usually plenty of entertainment on board long flights. The main thing is, of course, multimedia screens and a huge selection of films, most of which are in English.
