How to grease your motorcycle air filter? Do you know the 2 important steps to properly oil your air filter? If not, Doc and Simon will show you 2 tips to make your motorcycle breathe while filtering in order to preserve your engine. Waterproof or multi-purpose grease. A pair of gloves The steps to properly oil your air filter are: Spray oil on the entire foam. Spread the oil with your gloves over the entire filter Apply grease to the foam in contact with the air filter box. As you will have understood, the 2 tips are therefore to apply oil to the filter without putting too much, because this can obstruct the air intake and therefore limit the performance of your motorcycle.
