Everything for installing a plasterboard ceiling in Petrovich - https://goo.gl/v22oWt How to make a two-level plasterboard ceiling! For a visual master class on installing a 2-level plasterboard ceiling, we decided to combine two old videos on hemming a plasterboard ceiling on wooden joists and a plasterboard box for LED lighting into one review. The result is a full-fledged video #403 “How to make a two-level plasterboard ceiling.” Now we will describe the installation of a multi-level ceiling step by step to understand how to do this type of finishing work with your own hands: • We begin the installation by determining the height of the two-level ceiling. Using a laser level or a water level, we find the lowest point in the room, in our case this is the ventilation socket. Typically, the ceiling height is 40-110 mm, depending on the situation. • We attach a 28 * 27 guide profile around the perimeter of the room. • Then we move on to direct hangers, the distance between the hanger lines should be 400 (reinforced frame) or 600 mm (standard metal frame). If we are talking about a wooden rough ceiling with logs, then the lines of the 60 * 27 profiles and hangers should be located across the direction of laying the wooden logs. For ease of installation of hangers under the frame, you can use a laser. • If necessary, the 60 * 27 profile is extended through special adapters. • After the profile is inserted into the frame, opposite each hanger line, we pull a nylon thread. We fasten all the hangers one by one so that the thread does not reach the ceiling surface line by 0.5-0.6 mm. • We usually do not make counter-lattice on a plasterboard ceiling, but at each joint of the plasterboard sheets we put jumpers on crabs for the 60 * 27 profile. • Sheathing with plasterboard sheets follows the usual rules, when plasterboard is made with a staggered sheet, 3.5 * 25 self-tapping screws are placed with a step of 150-200 mm approximately 10 mm from the edge of the plasterboard sheet. The edges, where the plasterboard box for the backlight will be, can be omitted. • We start the second level of a two-level plasterboard ceiling with marking for 28 * 27 guide profiles on the wall and the first level of the ceiling. • After hemming the profiles, we attach the plasterboard side with a small release, after which we need to make a 28 * 27 profile inside the box, taking into account all the heights. We cut off excess plasterboard releases with a knife. • After this, we attach 60 * 27 jumpers every 600 mm, setting the side of the plasterboard box in the desired position during installation. • The final stage of installing a two-level plasterboard ceiling is making a box cover with a cornice for lighting. Ideally, this should be done using a router and mounting foam, as this will greatly simplify the process of filling the plasterboard ceiling.
