The flashing was made of sheet metal in the color of the roof tile. The whole process was presented on the material, and the chimney prepared in this way for structonite is a proven and tight solution. The barrier that has been created at the moment is in itself tight for the slope and the chimney block itself. Of course, when using structonite, which will be mounted on the supporting structure, such a situation will never happen that water will flow directly down the chimney block. Such a solution has never failed me, regardless of whether the flashing is mounted on clinker or on a clinker tile. The only thing they didn't have on site was a wedge sponge, which still needs to be glued to the sheet metal, which will prevent snow from blowing in. Today I'm starting with the second flashing and I have to add the sponge, ventilation tiles and screw the tiles with farmers. With the whole flashing, I wanted the whole thing to be hidden under the tiles, including the front side. Hence the solution of grinding the tiles and running the tape on the tiles. A proven, aesthetic and tight solution.
