How to identify the terminals of the 12-lead three-phase electric motor? Previously we did this with the 6-lead three-phase motor, but this time I will teach with the 12-lead motor. The function of the 12-terminal MIT is so that I can connect it to 4 voltage levels, for example, 220V, 380V, 440V and 760V, I can connect it to any of them. But what if the motor does not have any identification on the 12 terminal ends, what do I do? Inside the 12-terminal MIT there are 6 coils, and each coil has 2 terminals. To identify I can use a multimeter or a clamp meter, to use the continuity mode, and find the pair of each of the coils.
