Growing full-sized onions from seeds is still not a very popular phenomenon among gardeners. They do it mostly out of curiosity. But it seems that it is necessary to expand such experience. There are several reasons for this. And the first is the price of seedling onions (there is a high probability that soon we will have fewer and fewer opportunities to buy them in the amount necessary to provide the family with a harvest). But the quality of the seedling is no less important: sometimes half of the plants bloom (including due to improper storage, due to weather conditions, etc.). Onions, which are grown from seeds, will never bloom in the first year, because they are a two-year crop.
