We often have no problem playing games or using social media on our phones. Even though you know that studying, exercising, doing business, or something else equally effective will give you more benefits in the long run, you still prefer to watch TV, play games, and surf social media. It’s easy to come up with reasons why. Some activities are easy and don’t require much effort, while others are more difficult and require more of your own effort. Yet some people seem to have no problem studying, exercising, or doing a side hustle on a regular basis. This begs the question: Why are some people more motivated to tackle difficult things?
