(Audio-video correction version) Sermon video provided by: Bonjeong Kim Yeong-dong Sermon recording: Juan Handongil The path to realizing the mind (What is Zen meditation) Life is suffering, or impermanence, or non-self, and it cannot be anything but emptiness. This is a scientific truth. Where is my existence? All along, each and every cell came together to form my body. Where is my mind? We cannot grasp my mind. It is the Buddha's great cause and effect. What was the greatest meaning of Buddha Sakyamuni's coming to the world? What is the greatest matter? We sentient beings spend our whole lives drunk and dreaming over small matters, petty things. However, the teachings that Buddha spoke did not stop at such small things, but spoke of the great, one great matter, the greatest matter. What is the greatest matter? As I said earlier, it is for us to prove the true nature of all sentient beings, free from illusions and delusions. Zen meditation is the most advanced practice method in our Buddhism. The teachings of the Dharma, as I said earlier, are the most important matter for humans, the most fundamental problem that has led to human happiness, and the most fundamental truth that illuminates the essence of humans. In the midst of this, the shortcut and the most extreme path to illuminate the truth of the Buddha is meditation. The shortcut to realizing the one truth that we become Buddhas among the teachings of the Buddha is meditation. Therefore, meditation is the highest cultural practice method among the nearly 6 billion of us humans. There is no culture more advanced than this. ▶ Smartphone app: Buddha's words, sermons, and Namu Amitabha chanting by the great monk Cheonghwa https://play.google.com/store/apps/de... ▶ Muju Seonwon, the home of the mind with Amitabha https://cafe.daum.net/mujuseonwon
