On many occasions we need to reuse a PC power supply that is no longer in use for other electronic projects but it turns out that they have a protection which does not allow us to use more than one amp of the many that it is designed to deliver since it only does so when it is connected to the PC motherboard otherwise it is protected, in this video we will make a very simple modification to be able to cancel said protection and be able to use its maximum current delivery capacity for voltages of 12 volts, 5 volts, 3 volts etc.
