Check this out - that's actually a NASCAR stock car racing GTs and Prototypes at Le Mans. And they were FASTER than Ferrari, Aston Martin, and Porsche! NASCAR has changed a lot recently, with updated, more aerodynamic cars. Single lug wheels instead of the five zzz,zzz,zzz,zzz,zzz they used to run. They've even switched to more F1 looking wheels instead of the old high profile ones. They also now feature a rear diffuser, typical on other race cars but very new for production stock cars. BUT, one of the biggest changes is that they're racing on more tracks than before, racing on tracks like the Circuit of the Americas, Watkins Glen, and one of my favorites - the Charlotte Roval. So stock cars are no longer just for left turns, and they have proven that over the past few seasons. Although they are not at the level of GTs or prototypes to be competitive at Le Mans over the 24 Hours, right? ????
