Ok, this is going to be a good one, it took us a while to make it, but we're happy to bring it to you. In this video we're going to explain how magic and spellcasting work in Dungeons and Dragons Fifth Edition. We're going to give you a general overview, and then we're going to start a series of videos about how magic works for each of the spellcasting classes. This is the first video in this playlist, which we'll leave here and at the end of the video. This video is NOT a substitute for carefully reading the PHB, but I understand and embrace those who may have a bit more trouble understanding how these things work, or even the class of character they're playing. The first thing is that you should NOT be afraid of playing a spellcasting character, or of it being your first character. TRUE, it has a slightly higher level of complexity than a martial character, meaning it doesn't have magic, but that's not a bad thing, we play this game precisely because it's complex, that's the fun of it.
