The Transalp name has been particularly loved in Greece, a love that translates into thousands of motorcycles, both in terms of the first 1987 400cc version and the more recent 600 and 700. Since 2019, there have been rumors, which were confirmed, that Honda was working on a mid-range model that could compete with the then popular models, Yamaha Ténéré 700, KTM 890 Adventure and BMW F 850 GS. The Honda Transalp 750 was presented at the Milan EICMA exhibition in 2022, winning the world's interest from the beginning with its appearance but also with how faithful it remained to its original idea, although quite conservative in terms of its appearance, for my own tastes. Honda brings back to the fore a legend of the adventure touring category, drawing inspiration from the original motorcycle that was ideal for long-distance travel, for everyday life in an urban environment and of course, for all conditions in between. The new Transalp came to bridge the big gap that existed between the CB500X and the Africa Twin 1,100. The new all-new 755 cc twin-cylinder engine delivers a maximum power of 92 hp at 9,500 rpm and 7.5 kg of torque at 7,250 rpm. The electronic Throttle Management – Throttle By Wire (TBW) offers four pre-selected driving programs (Riding Modes) and one configurable by the rider. The transmission is via a one-way clutch and a six-speed gearbox, with the possibility of selecting Quick shifter from the list of optional equipment. Its weight is 208 kg, giving it an excellent weight-to-horsepower ratio. The engine is quite flexible, smoothly revving from 2,500 rpm, the throttle response is immediate with linear performance everywhere and lasting especially at high rpm. The bass sound that the engine produces is due to the new filter box and is truly enjoyable and not at all annoying, without vibrations and with a top speed that exceeds 200 km/h. The Honda Transalp 750 has four preset Modes: Sport, Standard, Rain and Gravel, while there is also one more, User, where you can choose the combination you want and customize its performance. #motoandbiketv #honda #transalp750 Subscribe to Moto&Bike TV: http://bit.ly/2Zfo1qs See also: Honda CB750 Hornet: Complete Restoration: • Honda CB750 Hornet: Complete Restoration Honda CB500X: No.1 in Sales! • Honda CB500X: No.1 in Sales!
