The first part of the review of age-related diseases of Legend. In this series, we conducted a quick inspection, washed the car from underneath (underbody wash), washed 90% of the underhood space and engine from oil deposits and conducted a detailed diagnosis. Broken right rear light Hood stops do not hold Automatic transmission oil - below level (topped up with 350 ml) Power steering fluid - black - below level - needs to be replaced several times Engine cooling fan - play in the electric motor Front valve cover - oil leak Front left wheel is not tightened (1 nut is missing) Front brake discs - wear exceeds normal Rear brake discs - wear exceeds normal, severe corrosion Rear right wheel - 1 nut missing Rear left wheel - 1 nut missing Power steering hose from radiator to reservoir - oil leak Power steering hose to radiator - oil leak Plastic engine protection - deformed - missing mounting clips Front right mudguard - partially destroyed Front engine mount - destroyed Right engine mount - destroyed Rear engine mount - destroyed Automatic transmission mount - destroyed Front lower arm left/right - ball joint play Front shock absorbers - loss of properties Rear knuckle left/right - ball joint play Front lower control arm silent block rear left/right - destroyed Rear traction arm left/right - silent block destruction Front body position sensor - destroyed rod - further diagnostics with removal required Rear body position sensor - missing - rod destroyed - connector contacts oxidized In the following series, we will describe in detail the repair processes and the parts used for this.
