I have been thinking for a long time about using a collet chuck when turning small parts to enable their multiple reinstallation. A factory collet chuck for the IZH 250 ITV lathe is a rare thing, but very useful and at the same time expensive. Therefore, I tried to find an alternative to the factory solution, but almost free. As always, the existing IZH 250, TV-7M and NGF 110 machines with a vertical milling head, supplemented by an HV-6 rotary table, helped with this. In practice, the collet itself can be made in a few hours from more or less high-quality steel and immediately start working, but it will take a lot of time to find standardized collets.
