The 48th edition of the Hobby Model Expo 2024 in Novegro, which began on Friday 27 September, will end on Sunday 29 September 2024. This year too, it welcomed numerous visitors from all over Italy. The pavilions set up for the fair were A, B, C, D + the outdoor area. In particular, a large part of pavilion C was used for shops, associations and exhibitors such as ACME, Rivarossi, ViTrains, Pi.RATA, Essemme, Piko, Blackstar and others. While pavilion D was used for model railways of all scales. ACME first showed the set of two FS Type VKkkldmm wagons for transporting rubble and the set of two Kgps wagons with military vehicles. In addition to this, the E656.182, Re 4/4 10500 with original marking and E403.012 Intercity Giorno were visible. Later, in another display case, it was possible to see the E405 still without paintwork, the E494.601 MIR Last Mile, two ALe601 electric motor units, Le480.002 in the composition of the REG 556/557 Superrapido in service in the seventies between Milan and Rome. Another novelty was the E494.542 Sangritana, E483.014 in Alpha Trains livery, E494.235 MDW, Traxx 187.341 Railpool and the E494.561 Railpool with the Captrain logo. Staying on the subject of locomotives, it was possible to notice the E494.558 Oceanogate and E494.577 Railpool. Right nearby there was also Blackstar where there was certainly no shortage of various rolling stock. There were some flat cars for transporting vans, some Sgmmnss for transporting containers and some hopper cars for transporting cereals. From ViTrains and Pi.RATA two E464 in the new Intercity livery were visible, the E620 of Ferrovie Nord Milano, the E494 TRAXX DC3 in a temporary livery and the ETR245 in the old Malpensa Express livery. Moving instead to Rivarossi as the first novelty there was the new D318 MIST, three E656 Caimano of the first, second and fourth series, the D245 in MIST livery, E402B.142 RFI and various carriages. Moving instead to Marklin, in terms of locomotives the Re 460 was visible, various carriages and the heads of the Giruno RABe501.004. Taking a look at Piko there were various D145 in every livery, the BR 181 212-2 with various cars and the E428.164. Moving on to the Roco stand there were an E656 XMPR, the E190 and E1293 of OBB, the E193 LTE and some wagons. Finally you will see numerous layouts of every scale such as: Arcamodellismo Torino, ARSMS, TopRail, Gruppo Fermodellistico E656, Gruppo Fermodellistico Milanese and Gauge 45 mm.
