Prof. Antonella D'Arminio Monforte has worked as director of the Infectious Diseases complex structure at ASST Santi Paolo e Carlo - Polo Universitario San Paolo in Milan. Here she assumed the responsibility of coordinating all research and assistance activities of the UO, as well as activating and coordinating infectious disease consultancy activities at the other UOs of the ASST, contributing significantly to the development of medicine and surgery in her sector. Currently, the professor is actively involved in the coordination of a national cohort of patients with HIV infection and participates in check point activities for the prevention and diagnosis of HIV infection in the city of Milan.
