Enthesitis, that is, inflammation of some portions of the tendons of the ligaments called entheses, represent a fairly frequent and rather disabling complication of psoriatic arthritis. There are not many treatment options but fortunately today there are new ones because a very interesting study designed in Italy has just been published in the journal Reumatology, therefore one of the most important at an international level, relating to the real-life use of the Jak inhibitor upadaticinib in patients with psoriatic arthritis refractory to traditional background drugs and biological drugs. We had the main results summarized by one of the authors of the study, Prof. Carlo Salvarani, Full Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
