A mystery still surrounds the life of Jesus. What he did, where he went, how he lived between the ages of 12 and 30. The Gospels provide a detailed chronology of his last three years of life, from his thirties to his crucifixion (at 33 years old), there is news of his birth and news of his visit to the holy city of Jerusalem, with the loss of the twelve-year-old Jesus by his parents and his finding in the Temple where he debated with great amazement with the high priests. The 18-year period missing from any historiography leaves many doubts and mysteries, fueling traditions and legends. Various hypotheses can be made, based on traditions but also on the latest historical findings that have painted the picture of the era in the Galilean area in those years. Many scholars believe that Jesus' life had been followed by his disciples even before he was thirty, but that only those important events of his life and those miraculous facts were reported in the Gospels. From a historical point of view, it could be assumed that Jesus worked with his father Joseph as a carpenter in a new settlement in Galilee, wanted by Herod the Great, or that he worked in fishing related jobs on the lake of Tiberias.
