Hello, this is Misun ☺ I successfully finished my wedding ceremony and had a great honeymoon amidst many congratulations from everyone~ I would like to thank everyone who congratulated me once again~^^ During my honeymoon, I ate three meals a day well and had fun! But I gained about 4kg so I bulked up and came back..hahahaha I headed to Saboojak Mountain with my body that had gotten heavier in about 2 weeks! Since there was news of rain everywhere in the country, I chose a mountain that was not raining and a place I had never been to before, and I decided on Juheul Mountain in Mungyeong! The weather was cloudy and it rained in the end, but I was still so happy to have hiked for the first time in a long time~ Let’s hike together for the story of my first hike after marriage!! • Korea Forest Service 100 Famous Mountains: Juheulsan [59/100] • Date: 24/12/02/Mon • Weather: Average temperature of 21 degrees ☁ • Location: Juheulsan, Mungyeong-eup, Mungyeong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do • Elevation: 1,108.4 m • Distance: 14.7 km • Time: 5 hours 38 minutes • Ascent: 994 m • Descent: 913 m • Course: Mungyeong Saejae 1st Parking Lot → 1st Gate (Juheulgwan) → Yeogung Falls → Jubong → Yeongbong → Kkotbal Seodeol → 2nd Gate (Jogokgwan) → Return to starting point Juheulsan - A famous mountain so outstanding that it competes with Samgaksan (Excerpt from Korea Forest Service) There is a legend that this mountain is so outstanding that it came down in a huff after competing with Samgaksan for the title of guardian mountain of Seoul. The ridge extending from the summit to Nambong is particularly impressive, over 1,000m high, and looks like a magnificent ridge from Samgaksan Baekundae to Bohyeonbong. The general hiking trail is divided into six directions centered around the 1,075 peak known as the summit, and among them, the ridge beauty of the line passing through Juheulyeongbong and Bubong, which are the upper peaks, and connecting to Donghwawon-ro is superb. The course going down to Haneuljae via Wolhangsambong is also good, and in Wolaksan, the sky gold of these two looks dynamic like a rhythmic gymnastics ribbon. There are no well-developed valleys because the mountain is dominant. Instead, the Yeogung Falls and Parangso in Gokchunggol and the flower gardens of Jogokgol are unique. It is hard to find anywhere else where azaleas bloom, sparsely piercing through the ridges. Mungyeong Saejae, designated as a provincial park, is famous as a nature trail as well as the gateways to Juheulgwan, Jogokgwan, and Jollinggwan.
