I stayed at the Muika Onsen Hotel in Minamiuonuma City, Niigata Prefecture. It's a great hotel, bustling with winter sports in the winter and a great place for kids to enjoy catching bugs and swimming in the pool in the summer. The meals are delicious, with buffets for breakfast and dinner. I really enjoyed this highly rated and reasonably priced hotel.
