Friends, we present the full version of the video from last year's hike in Altai. We spent 19 days in the Altai Mountains, on the Ukok plateau. It was a hiking trip with a radial route of more than 200 km. We left the village of Dzhazator and went to the Ukok plateau through two passes. Then we moved to the Ak-Alakha River valley, in the valley of which we spent several days. Along the way, we tried to catch grayling. In the Akalakhi valley, several fords and encounters with wild animals awaited us, which we managed to perfectly capture on video, meetings with local residents who graze their herds on Ukok. By chance, in the Ak-Alakha valley we visited an ancient monument - the mound of the Princess of Ukok. Then our path lay to a network of high-mountain lakes, where we arranged the first day's rest for the hike, and then through the pass went to the forest part of Ukok. Along this route we had long climbs and descents, river fords and vast swamps to overcome. Approaching a large stream, Taras caught fish for the first time during the trip; among the grayling he caught was a record-breaking specimen for Taras. Our further route ran along the old Soviet road leading to the ruins of the Chindagatuy mine, which is located on the stream of the same name. We visited the famous steam engine and went to Lake Alakhinskoye, where we set up our camp and spent three days. We successfully fished for grayling and collected pine nuts. These days were accompanied by torrential rains and we were forced to hide in the tent almost all the time. On these cool, wet days, we once again appreciated our camping stove, which allowed us to stay warm and dry. Then our route ran along the already familiar path along the Kara-Alakha River to its spills. We set up camp again and fished for two days, and then the last stage of our route began - a hike through the Chokpartas tract. For the second year, we were lucky with the weather and we were able to fully enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the remnant rocks and the expanse that opens up from this high-mountain part of the southern Altai. We spent the night on Chokpartas and set out on what turned out to be our last day of hiking. By the 19th day of the hike, we were tired, the trail was already familiar to us, so we sped up and walked more than 30 kilometers in a day and finished our route at the starting point, in the village of Dzhazator.
