In this lecture, Lúcia Helena Galvão Maya, a philosophy professor at the New Acropolis Organization for 33 years, translates each step of the Hero's Journey – described by Joseph Campbell in his excellent book “Hero with 1000 Faces” – into daily actions necessary for the evolution of the human being. She comments on how the representation of Heroic Myths can help us find answers to life, highlighting the importance of observing reality more deeply and how symbolic language is universal and communicates to all human beings.
