When you rebel, have you ever remembered My wrath and refrained from sinning? Have you fulfilled My obligations as I commanded you? Have you given from your wealth to the needy, have you been kind to one who wronged you? Have you forgiven one who wronged you? Have you dealt with one who severed ties of kinship with you? Have you ever been fair to those who betrayed you? Have you ever spoken to those who were angry with you? Have you taught your children manners and made your neighbors happy with you? Have you ever asked scholars about your religion and your worldly life? Indeed, I do not look at your appearances and external beauties, but I look at your hearts. Whoever has these attributes, I am pleased with him.” The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Certainly, Allah (swt) does not look at your bodies and forms.
