About :

Dominko Gavrić from Kovačić near Novo Travnik lives alone in the village and apart from the flour he buys in the store, he produces everything else with his friends on his farm. Dominko raises goats, pigs, chickens, has his own greenhouse where he produces tomatoes, peppers, Swiss chard. In his garden, he produces potatoes, cabbage, beans, pumpkins and all other vegetables, which he even sells when there are surpluses. For many years, fruit did not grow better at Dominko's, so in the fall there will be brandy as well as jam, dried pears, apples, and plums. This honest man works 14 hours a day because he takes care of almost a hundred heads of various animals. He also learned to make goat's cheese, and during this heat, he feeds his pigs bananas, peaches, plums and other vegetables that stores throw away after their expiration date. Dominko was very sick while living in Croatia as an exile. When he returned to his house where he had lived without electricity for five years, all his illnesses left him.
