I show you how to retune a MK 2500 radio cassette player. After desoldering the capacitors, the radio jumped to the 87, 108 Mhz bands by itself, I practically didn't have to tune anything. Just be careful when getting to the VHF head. You have to dismantle the scale together with the ferrite antenna. The ferrite antenna hangs only on thin wires, and after a few swings of the ferrite antenna, the wires break off, it happened to me. So to sum up, it retunes nicely but it's bad at dismantling the ferrite antenna, which has no way to secure and the wires break off from the printed circuit board. But the effect of retuning is satisfactory. The radio receives beautifully on VHF.
