After various events and concerts, the group came to Istanbul in 1993, and due to the lack of a suitable place for regular work, they turned to associations and unions as a place to work. One of the biggest problems that oppositional music groups encountered, especially the problem of working space, was overcome, albeit with difficulty, at that time. Grup Munzur has continued its work at the Yüz Çiçek Açsın Cultural Center since 1994. On July 24, 1994, Yüz Çiçek Açsın Cultural Center, which set out with the slogan “let a hundred flowers bloom” with the enthusiasm of carrying the past to the present and the present to the future, in order for the people to develop and spread in the fields of culture, art and literature against alienation, degeneration, corruption and reactionism, has become the home of Grup Munzur since 1994. Continuing its work as a unit of Yüz Çiçek Açsın Cultural Center, Grup Munzur aimed to make the art of the people by living together with the people and learning from their pain, joy, longing, hopes and rebellion. Despite all the pressures, bans and suppression policies against alternative culture centers and music groups that do not compromise on their oppositional identities, Grup Munzur continues its music work with the power it receives from the people. The source that Group Munzur feeds from is the people's life, pain, happiness, of course their hopes and the cultural heritage they have created for centuries. While using the people's melodies in its musical productions, it benefits from this cultural heritage as a richness by especially using their languages. Group Munzur is aware of the power of the masses of people in social life, coming from their production and labor, and it sings the song of the struggle carried out to make the world equal, free and free of exploitation. Group Munzur uses art as a tool in the war to create a more beautiful world. Group Munzur's first album, "Babanın Türküsü/Onların Kavgası", was released when they first came to Istanbul, when there was a problem with working places. Despite the setbacks brought by these conditions and some shortcomings brought by being the first album, it is an album that brings together products that are forward-looking. They released their second album, "Hep Birlikte", in September 1995. The album, which represents a counter-stance from the cultural and artistic front of the social opposition developing against the system, has the characteristics of alternative cultural products against the cultural products imposed on the public and corrupting them. In 1997, Group Munzur met with its listeners with its third album called “Tutuşturun Geceleri” with a more concise and meticulous work based on the experiences of its first two albums. It collected products that can be evaluated within a wide framework with traditional Kurdish and Armenian melodies from Aşık Veysel and its own compositions in this album. In 2000, it realized its album called “Beklenen Uzak Değil” which was the name of not giving way to any kind of hopelessness and pessimism. In this work, which is mostly polyphonic choir and poetry, it created a rich repertoire and a different synthesis with anonymous folk songs as well as folk songs of our folk poets such as Pir Sultan Abdal and Tufani. Addressing its listeners with a new album called “Bahara Çağrı” in 2003, Group Munzur also included a repertoire consisting of Turkish, Zazaki, Kurdish and Laz languages and an instrumental work. Continuing their work after the Kızıl Anka album, Group Munzur insistently shouted the slogan of brotherhood of peoples with “Shout” in 2010, where different languages and melodies came together.
