Enjoy the sound of the Mitsubishi GTO-VVVF of the Shin-Keisei Electric Railway 8800 series trains at stations, during departure and arrival scenes, and in-car running sounds! Enjoy the motor sound of a Japanese train. Keise Line /Series 8800 /MITSUBISHI GTO -VVVF The number of Mitsubishi GTO 8800 series trains is being reduced by updating equipment and scrapping the trains The 8800 series debuted in 1986 as the first VVVF inverter train in the Kanto region. The Tokyu 9000 series was also supposed to be the first in the Kanto region in 1986, but Shin-Keisei beat them to the debut date by about 10 days (lol) From the time of its debut until around 1999, it was a multi-modulation type that can be heard on the 209 series and Kintetsu 3200 series, but the software change to the VVVF made it vector control, making the modulation sound difficult to hear, and it became compatible with pure electric brakes that allowed regenerative braking to work until the train stopped. The only Japanese GTO cars that are compatible with pure electric brakes are the 8800 series and the Odakyu 1000 series, and both have a unique low-pitched sound, which is why railway fans call them "ghost inverters." With the 8800 series, the brake release sound is almost inaudible, but you can clearly hear it during the 6 minutes 37 seconds direct operation to the Keisei Line. If anyone knows the difference, please explain it in the comments. m(_ _)m --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Good sound level: ★★★★★5 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 00:00 8808F arrives with a repainted paint job and departs 01:16 Right next to the bogie! 8815F arrives at Kunugiyama Station and departs 02:16 8808F arrives at Kitahatomi Station and departs 04:33 Right next to the bogie! 8808F Yakuendai Station Photographed in 2015 05:19 8808F Photographed in 2019 06:37 8804F Shin-Chiba Station Photographed in 2022 07:44 In-car running sound Midoridai - Shin-Chiba 10:48 8801F Takifudou Station 2019 12:05 8807F 2015 13:02 8813F 2019 13:59 8809F 15:09 8811F Misaki Station 15:55 Repainted 8808F 16:52 8815F Takifudou Station 2019 18:03 8806F Yakuendai Station 2015 19:05 8812F Yakuendai 2015 19:55 8815F In-car running sound Maebara to Narashino 23:21 8811F interior running sound Minoridai to Tokiwadaira 26:43 Thank you for watching -------------------------------------------------------------- [Good Sound♪Sound Train Video Series No. 497] ◎To enjoy the sound, we recommend watching with earphones, headphones or high quality speakers! ⬇Introduction video about this channel • Good Sound♪TOQBOX9000 channel introduction video ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
