Excursion on the Gran Sasso, starting from Prati di Tivo and taking the cable car to Arapietra (2000 m), to tackle a loop around the Corno Piccolo (2665 m) along the Pier Paolo Ventricini path in its first section (hiking) and in its second section (mountaineering), (path 105). Climb to the summit via the Ferrata Danesi and descent via the normal route of Corno Piccolo. Once back on path 105 in the Valle dei Ginepri, continuing left on the path at the base of the Fiamme di Pietra, I climbed to the Sella dei Due Corni (2547 m). From the Sella dei Due Corni I took path 103 that descends to the Rifugio Franchetti (2433 m). Following path 103 I returned to the Arapietra cable car (2000 m). I shared the day with Paolo and Simone and the climb to the top of Corno Piccolo on the Ferrata Danesi with Fabio, Tina, Marilena who, at the beginning of the via ferrata, warmly welcomed me into their team without knowing me. (For a safe excursion, always turn to qualified people, always get information from Alpine Guides, the local Tourist Center, ask the Alpine Rescue staff, the CAI and find out about the weather conditions. These videos do not pretend to teach how to go to the mountains, but only to communicate the joy of doing it. To go to the mountains you need to be careful, be well equipped and equipped, have adequate physical preparation, have skills that must be acquired through courses or by working alongside very experienced people to avoid having problems, from trivial ones to those that are also very life-threatening. In my experience, the greatest risks were run because I did not know the dangers I would encounter, therefore due to lack of knowledge, unawareness, recklessness. And this was very dangerous. So prepare yourself well and plan the excursion with experienced people).
