Bendungan Hilir Transjakarta Shelter Bendungan Hilir (often abbreviated as Benhil) is a Transjakarta bus stop located on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Karet Semanggi, Setiabudi, South Jakarta. The bus stop, which is located on Corridor 1 which stretches from north to south, is a transit point to Corridor 9 via Semanggi Shelter. The name of this bus stop comes from the name of the local area. On October 7, 2023 at 22.00 WIB, the Bendungan Hilir Shelter, along with the Semanggi Shelter, was temporarily closed due to a revitalization project. Alternatives at this bus stop are to access nearby bus stops such as Polda Metro Jaya Bus Stop and Karet Sudirman Bus Stop or you can also use the Non-BRT service available at the bus stop across from the bus stop such as the Plaza Sentral bus stop and the Benhil 1, 2, and 3 bus stops. On July 14, 2024 at 16.00 WIB, the Bendungan Hilir Bus Stop was reopened to serve passengers after being closed for 8 months. The opening was carried out in stages with the lift and Semanggi pedestrian bridge (JPO) which were still under construction when the bus stop was reopened. After the revitalization, the Bendungan Hilir Bus Stop has two floors and a facade design in the form of a combination of bus stops on Corridor 1 with a large platform area on the 1st floor, and on Corridor 9 with a concourse area on the 2nd floor for access in and out of the bus stop via the existing JPO even though the concourse length is relatively shorter. The Bendungan Hilir Bus Stop platform was also increased from 3 to 6 platforms on each side. Inside this bus stop, there is also a rain tree on the west side of the bus stop with concrete stands and trellises to accommodate the growth of the tree, making this bus stop one of the bus stops that also accommodates trees inside the bus stop after the Senayan Roundabout Bus Stop, the DKI Bank Senayan Bus Stop, the National Monument Bus Stop, the City Hall Bus Stop, and the Kwitang Bus Stop.
