In this video, we explore the journey of redemption throughout history, where God, the city, and worship play central roles. We begin by recalling the story of the Garden of Eden and the break with God that led us down difficult paths, symbolized by the city. We see how the quest for power and self-sufficiency led to the building of the Tower of Babel and the formation of misguided systems of government, such as the monarchy. However, God does not give up on redeeming us. The unbreakable covenant with David is a milestone that eventually leads to the messianic reality, represented by Jesus Christ. Surprisingly, Jesus is born in villages, avoiding the big cities, but he is the great reference in the story of redemption. We come to Revelation, where we glimpse the New Jerusalem, the city that marks God’s victory, where there will be no more death, pain, or crying. The city symbolizes the restoration of Eden, and worship of God is the central point. The water of life and the Tree of Life are back, providing healing to the nations. The main message is that worshiping God is fundamental, and when we recognize His importance, we can find our way back to the Garden. Redemption is God's victory over human rebellion, and the triumph of the city is humanity's triumph in search of true worship.
