This seems to have overwhelmed her biological parents. Her mother left Gina alone in the hospital. Since she was six months old, Gina has been growing up with a foster family, with whom she still lives today. After a panic attack on summer vacation, during which Gina almost drowned, she is very afraid of water. But at some point, with the help of a swimming instructor, she manages to overcome this fear. Gina develops a passion for swimming. Today, she is one of the best swimmers in the world in her class.
